Five decades of Business Experience

With nearly 50 years of experience spanning financial services and marine exports, Mr. K. G. Lawrence is a respected industry leader. He is the former President of the Seafood Exporters Association of Kerala and has served on national and state bodies, including Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and the Minimum Wage Board. He was the former President of the Cochin Fine Arts Society. Currently, he serves on the Board of Governors of Prajyothi Nikethan College, Puthukkadu and is the Managing Partner of Geo Seafoods and a Director of Monsun Foods Private Limited.

Mrs. Valsa Lawrence serves on the Board of Directors across several companies within the Geo VPL Group. Through her Whole-time directorship, she actively contributes to the Company’s strategic governance, management, and corporate initiatives.

Qualification: Graduate in Economics

Mr. Pradeesh Lawrence has been deeply involved in the business since completing his studies. He has played a hands-on role in the operations and day-to-day management of Geo VPL Finance Limited since its inception. He serves as a Director across several Geo VPL Group companies and Hi- Tech Universal Printers and Publishers (India) Private Limited, Coimbatore.

Qualification: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Mrs. Julie Pradeesh plays a key operational role in the company’s day-to-day management. She serves on the Board of Directors for several Geo VPL Group companies, as well as Hi-Tech Universal Printers and Publishers (India) Private Limited, Coimbatore.

Mr. Philip Abraham

Banking experience: 30+ years

Mr. Philip Abraham is a seasoned banking professional with over three decades of industry experience, including senior leadership roles at Federal Bank and Indian Bank. His extensive expertise spans NRI business development, retail banking, regional operations, NPA management, branch expansion, strategic planning, and team leadership. A graduate in Chemistry from the University of Kerala and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), he was appointed as an Independent Director of Geo VPL Finance on 19 March 2026

Mr. Dileep K. P.

Banking experience: 38+ years

Mr. Dileep K. P. is a seasoned banking professional with over 38 years of experience at State Bank of Travancore and State Bank of India, where he retired as Assistant General Manager. His expertise includes managing large corporate and NBFC accounts, as well as project appraisal across key sectors such as infrastructure, power, steel, cement, textiles, and SMEs.

For the past six years, he has been practising as an Insolvency Professional and Liquidator associated with the NCLT, empanelled with leading institutions including State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC), and Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC). He was appointed as an Independent Director of Geo VPL Finance with effect from 18 August 2025

Mr. Mannil Venugopalan

Banking experience: 45+ years

Mr. Mannil Venugopalan is a former Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of India and former Managing Director & CEO of Federal Bank Limited. He is a commercial banking professional with more than four decades of experience across diverse geographies and leadership positions in India and abroad.

He began his banking career as a Probationary Officer with Bank of India in 1966. He also served as an Executive Director with Union Bank of India before rising to the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of India.

His extensive leadership experience in banking and financial services provides strategic guidance to the Board of Geo VPL Finance.
